Did you know? that Gran Fondo was founded in Italy in 1971. This cycling marathon is to compete against each other, by the clock. But the most important thing in this competition is to challenge yourself.
Gran Fondo New York starts in 2011 it is a pretty new marathon, after New York’s big success the GFNY World Series. As a consequence was founded in 2014 all over the world, it is a high standard cycling event.
It takes place in several places, but we are very lucky because our little paradise, Cozumel is one of the places that have this amazing and big event. We receive participants from 50 different countries. You do not have to be the big athletic to complete this challenge it is for all the abilities, ages and health conditions. You should try it!
This year would be the 6th edition, the ones that already have this experience, they said you have to do it as a personal challenge, the idea is to go around the beautiful island for 20 miles, riding with your friends or family.
Enjoy these amazing views doing one of the most important activities of the island. Going around the island through the crystalline & turquoise waters.
In the end, as regard you can finish your experience and pamper yourself using a private boat for rent. Delighting yourself with freshly made ceviche, guacamole, beverages, and friends.
