Payment Terms
To secure your private yacht experience, a 30% deposit of the charter fee is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is paid upon arrival at our office, before boarding the yacht.
We accept all forms of payment, making the process simple and convenient for you.
Caribbean weather changes quickly, so seeing clouds, wind, or rain in the forecast is not always a reason to worry.
In Cozumel and the Riviera Maya, the weather can be very different from one place to another. It may be raining at your hotel, while the marina or the areas where we navigate are sunny and calm. For this reason, general weather apps are not always accurate for our specific routes.
At Deluxe Private Boats, your safety is always our priority. Our captains and crew are highly experienced and monitor real marine conditions through reliable local sources before every departure. We will never operate a tour if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
Cozumel also has a natural advantage: the island protects many of our navigation areas from wind, often creating calmer waters and a more comfortable experience.
We will always be honest with you. If the conditions are good, we will welcome you aboard with confidence. If they are not, we will let you know. Our goal is for you and your family to feel safe, relaxed, and fully cared for.

We will never operate an experience if we believe conditions could affect the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of our guests.

Deluxe Private Boats will only cancel or reschedule an experience when it is truly necessary, such as:
- The port is officially closed.
- There is rain expected throughout the entire day.
- There is a lightning storm.
- If we consider that there is any safety risk due to weather or sea conditions.
- The vessel has an unexpected mechanical issue or requires maintenance before departure.
- No suitable vessel is available due to an unforeseen situation.
If any of these situations occur, we will first do our best to reschedule your experience for another day or offer an alternative vessel, depending on availability.
If rescheduling is not possible due to vessel availability or the client’s agenda, we can offer either a voucher valid for 2 years or a 100% refund through the same payment method used for the booking.
If your flight is canceled from your country of origin due to bad weather, a full refund may also be applicable. In this case, the client must provide official proof of the flight cancellation.
Our promise is simple: we will always be honest with you. If conditions are suitable, we will welcome you aboard with confidence. If they are not, we will let you know and help you find the best possible solution.
The weather in the Caribbean changes frequently. In the event that you see a weather forecast indicating a cloudy day with wind or rain, this is no grounds for concern.
- If it is raining or cloudy where guests are staying.
- If the weather is not nice: if it starts to rain, if it gets cloudy, if it is too hot or too cold, if there are waves, it is a windy day, or if you are unable to do the snorkeling activity.
- If someone gets seasick or dizzy during the tour.
- If the trip ends early, due to illness or at the request of the client.
- If we run out of any kind of drink or food due to unusually high consumption.
- If due to the negligence of the client, he or she suffers any type of accident.
- If there is any disagreement with the service during the experience.
- If there is any disagreement from the client regarding the safety regulations of the boat during the experience.
