What happens on the tour?

What we usually do?

We depart from the marina headed South or North of Cozumel island to the reef barrier and make a snorkel stop away from the crowds. Snorkeling in Cozumel is one of the most fulfilling experiences you will ever have. The water is so clear you can look far away in the distance. When snorkeling in Cozumel we will request for your total respect of nature, please don´t touch or grab anything, we want to protect as much as possible the marine life and reefs. Respect the distance (3ft) between you and the reef and taking any seashell is prohibited.

After a unique snorkeling experience will get close to a sand bar or private beach for some quiet beach time in beautiful relaxation time. Here our crew will prepare fresh ceviche, guacamole, and more thing for you to enjoy all fresh and made onboard. Do you remember that moment when you were planning your holidays and you were thinking of this paradisiac beach by yourself with a cold drink? Well, this is your dream come true and brought to life, this is the moment and the reason for choosing us is your best option. We understand what you are looking for.

Everyone will be able to get in the water, it is not deep so kids or Grandma can be safe swimming in the bluest waters ever. We recommend putting your favorite tunes so feel free to ask the captain to help you. After spending a perfect day we will make a slow return to the marina to finish your trip.

Are children allowed on tours?

We are as kid-friendly as it gets! Think about it: sea turtles, thousands of reef fish, safety gear, a happy, fun environment with great staff. The trip is so action-packed your kids won’t want to leave.

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

Coming down for a trip next year, but love to plan in advance? No problem. Are you more of a seat-of-your-pants traveler? No problem.

We recommend at least 2 months in advance.
It should be noted that the closer to the date you wait to book the more likely it will be that the boat you want could be booked up. Best practices suggest you book as soon as you know you’re going to come to the island. If you have your reservation ready for a cruise or hotel, call us immediately and we will help you set everything for you to pay only an advanced payment and the balance is paid the day of your trip for your comfort.

What about bad weather cancellations?

We will make every attempt to reschedule your trip, but cruise ship guests are out of luck. If your trip is canceled due to weather. We will refund your deposit the same way it was paid. We do not normally cancel due to rain unless it’s an all-day rain. It is normal in the tropics to get showers some days.

Cancellations

We understand that sometimes things happen and we can’t always have fun on a yacht in the Caribbean. Which is why we allow cancellations for tours with at least 14 days advance notice (14 days from the departure date).

If you simply do not show up or cancel with less than 14 full days notice before the departure date we cannot issue a refund on your deposit.

Our tours are mostly booked two months, five months or even a year in advance. With such short notice. We will have an almost impossible task of filling the time slot we’ve been holding for you.

The fantastic news is that we have a 100%, no-fuss inclement weather refund policy. If the conditions are unsuitable or unsafe for a day at sea we offer a full refund, no questions asked.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all credit and debit cards and will be happy to assist you over the phone or WhatsApp to place your reservation. You can pay and advanced payment directly through the website for your comfort or our PayPal account. We also have a bank account in the states for you to transfer if needed.

We take a 30% deposit to hold your boat and date, the balance is paid in cash upon arrival (Mexican pesos or USD accepted). Balance payments the day of the trip with credit cards have a 4.3% commission.

Refunds

We are happy to provide you with a full-refund if your cancellation is made at least 14 days prior your trip. If port is close or we have an all day rain we will also cancel trying to move your reservation to the next available day or place a full refund if needed.

Is this the right tour for me and my group? Yes!

The tour is totally suitable for all, family and friends, regardless the age. The tour will adapt to your needs.

This experience is for you to relax, swim, explore, party or just to enjoy the amazing views of the Caribbean. Cozumel has so much to offer and everyone just loves cruising thru the blue waters. We will take you to the nicest spots, away from the crowds. Always looking to surprise you with locations, service and quality food and drinks.

Renting a private boat will create the perfect atmosphere for your day and we will make sure everything is perfect.

What if I am staying on the Island?

We need everyone staying on the island to contact us after you arrive in Mexico. Letting us know how to contact you. Hotel name, room numbers, private villas phone numbers and contact information are important. This way if there is any change on plans or weather conditions are not suitable we can let you know beforehand.

What about transportation to the boat? Why can't you pick us up?

Everyone is responsible for their own transportation to the marina. Taxis are reasonable and available everywhere. It is illegal to transport tourist by any other means than a taxi in Cozumel. Our office is located in Marina Fonatur, 3 minutes away from the cruise piers and 10 min away from downtown.

If your hotel has an available pier we will be happy to pick you up at the pier of your hotel. Some hotels have a fee for using the pier, this you will need to pay directly to the hotel.

What should I bring?

Most of the things needed for a perfect day are already on board but we recommend you pack for your snorkel excursion like you would for a day at the beach.

  2. Snorkel gear for kids we only provide Medium and Large gear.
  3. 50% UV T-Shirt / IMPORTANT – Eco-friendly Sunscreen is also for sell at the office (regular sunscreen affects the reef and kills coral so please help us getting a bio-friendly sunscreen or a long sleeve t-shirt)
  4. Camera (make sure you’ve got lots of storage on your media card)
  5. For very young children, we suggest that you might want to bring a swim vest that your child feels comfortable wearing. (We also have onboard)
  6. If you have your own snorkel gear, and feel more comfortable with it you are welcome to bring it! However, we do provide sanitized quality snorkel gear and flotation devices free of charge.
  7. Bring your cellphone or iPod, with your favorite tunes.

What kind of damage does sunscreen do to the marine ecosystem?

One of the most harmful things to marine life is sunscreens, oils, and sunblocks. We don’t think of it, but when we swim in the water these oils come off and settle on the coral reefs and other marine life. The volume can almost act like an oil slick in the water, creating damage to the delicate ecosystems. The reefs are suffocated and sunscreens are one of the biggest causes of bleaching to our reefs. Causing the death of a big part of the world’s coral. Oxybenzone, a common ingredient in sunscreens, has even been shown to feminize fish.

We have organic sunscreen for sale at the office if needed.

Should I tip the captain?

We do not ask for a tip, we feel our service will speak for itself and any tip will be greatly appreciated by the captain and crew. This guys work hard to get it. We pay good salaries, but tips is something they will work hard for.

How much should I tip?

This is totally up to you and how much you enjoyed the trip. Everyone has a different policy on tipping and anything will be graciously accepted.

FYI, some people think because the area is poorer, that the cost of living is less. This is not the case as almost everything is more expensive here, and the income level is much less on average, so tip as if you were on a tour in the States.

How will I get back after the tour?

There will be taxis available. If needed we can have one waiting for you if you are on a cruise ship with a tight schedule.

We will ask if you require a taxi near the end of the trip, so we can arrange them.

Should I leave a feedback or a review?

We live off of our reputation, and the more people know about us, the better. Word of mouth goes a long way so please tell others. Our main goal is to have people live a unique experience and know what we do.

What kind of music will you be playing?

We highly recommend you bring your iPod or Cellphone to listen to your tunes and feel at home.

Bluetooth connection is available on all our boats. All boats have a really nice sound system so bring your mp3.

Do you have snorkeling gear? What if we bring our own?

We have top quality snorkeling gear. Including the latest life vests which are much less restrictive and lighter weight than the traditional type.

We sanitize all of our gear before every single tour. Walk around our boat when you arrive, and you’ll see just how tidy we are!

If you have your own snorkeling gear you’d like to bring, you’re more than welcome to. We can even stow it away while underway and get it for you when you’re ready to hit the water.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Your tour will include different drinks and we will be happy and ready to serve you.

Maybe you have a special bottle of your favorite liquor or wine, and the answer is YES. You are welcome to bring anything you want on board. Ask about our premium upgrades or check out the bottle service list at the time you place your reservation.

Do you provide life jackets for all guests?

We have enough life jackets on-board for all passengers. While you are not required to wear one underway, it’s entirely up to you. We can help you and ensure that any small children have proper life jackets on as well.

What kind of proof of purchase will I need to show upon arrival?

We keep a list of every guest for the tour. Just show us the proof of purchase on your phone.
